Project Dossier

Money Christmas sits between concert film, livestream and post-produced visual object. Public listings frame the work as new material performed by yasiin bey, first presented as a Bandcamp livestream and later reworked with effects by Brahmography.

Ibrahim's contribution lives in the visual layer: atmosphere, movement, signal, distortion and the kind of restraint that lets a performance feel live while still becoming a composed screen work.

Visual Material

The visual material gathers artwork, screen treatments and production atmosphere around the release. Together they show how the livestream became a composed screen object rather than a simple replay.

Review / Public Context

Rare new material

Music press framed Money Christmas as the first new solo music from yasiin bey in five years, presented through a livestream performance rather than a conventional rollout.

Livestream as release

The performance was announced for Bandcamp, with replay/video access becoming part of the wider project life after the live moment.

Reworked screen object

The official VHX page notes that the recorded livestream was later reworked with effects created by Brahmography, turning documentation into a deliberate visual version.
